Jupiter Oceanfront Luxury Condos for Sale

Finding a luxury condo in Jupiter can be difficult as many of the prime locations were built on back in the  80’s during that building boom. In 1984-86 Jupiter saw a building boom where many businesses from Boca Raton were opening up new locations in Jupiter as it was going to be the next boom town. I was living in Boca at the time and The Firehouse Restaurant in Boca opened up a location on US 1 in Jupiter near Ocean Way at the beginning of the Jupiter River Walk. Jerry’s Pizza a long time Boca icon also opened up a new location on Indiantown and Alternate A1A.  Everyone was going to Jupiter.

Building boom in Jupiter

Most of the Bluffs condos in Jupiter, Jupiter Bay and a few other beachfront communities were all built in the mid 80’s and then we had the crash around 1989. Building came to a sudden halt as did the move to Jupiter. With so many condos built along the beach in Jupiter we only had a few open ocean lots after that timeframe to build luxury condos in Jupiter such as Jupiter Ocean Grande. We basically have just two luxury condos in Jupiter, Jupiter Ocean Grande and Jupiter Yacht Club. Juno Beach has four that fit the bill. So finding a hi end luxury condo here can be difficult. We have two other condos along the beach that have the taller 9 ft ceilings, Jupiter by the Sea and Ocean Club. They were built in the 90’s so they are 20 years old. The newest condos are Anchorage -Commodore in JYC built in 2006.
