Here in the Jupiter area I continue to see strong demand for the sub $300,000 condo market and Jupiter single family home sales under $500,000. Jupiter Florida real estate has been booming. Limited supply in both seems to be causing a surge in sales. Rental demand continues to outstrip supply no matter what the price is. Short term and annual rentals are popular among many different clients. We are seeing new residents moving to Florida who are unable to find a home and local sellers closing on their homes and unable to find another home. We are seeing a surge for lower priced rentals and high end rentals as well. Call today for Jupiter Florida real estate.
Another interesting article crossed my desk last week regarding rentals. A greater percentage of retirees were renting than ever before in history. The percentage increase was dramatic.
It’s a very strange market with many agents busy showing properties but a great percentage of buyers aren’t buying. I’m not sure if its price, inventory choices or buyers are scouting different areas of Florida in search of the community that checks all their boxes. I had a customer call a few weeks ago looking for a newer ocean condo with a budget over 3 million but we just had nothing in the area that worked for her. She ended up buying in Fort Lauderdale at the Auberge. Google Auberge. It’s a product we just don’t have in Jupiter. New Jupiter beach condos are non-existent.
New construction is high on many buyers lists. Last week we saw Westlake built by Minto have their Grand Opening. It will be 4,500 homes located West of Palm Beach Gardens out by the Acreage. New homes start around $300,000 for 1,500 sq. ft or so. It’s geared towards affordable living and will be its own town.

Buying or Selling Jupiter Florida real estate
If you are looking to buy or sell feel free to call me and see what your home is worth today or what is available for sale here in the Jupiter area. The most important thing you should do when buying a home is to watch the new listings each day.
Call me and I will setup a search for new listings for you. If you see a property that interests you call me immediately. I will go over and preview the property and give you a detailed description of what the property may need including A/C age or bad sliders. The property may look great with pictures only to find out that new kitchen is just a reface and not a brand new kitchen.
Remember an As/Is contract allows you to purchase a property with a 10 day inspection period. During that inspection period you may cancel the contract at anytime without a penalty. This should give you enough time to fly down and see the property without the fear of losing the property. Imagine flying down to make an offer only to find out the property sold before you got here.

Developers don’t like to discount prices in new neighborhoods but I can negotiate allowances as well as offer incentives back to the buyer to save you money.
